Asger Harbou Gjerdevik 

Asger Harbou Gjerdevik (b. 1986, Denmark) earned a MA in Painting from Royal College of Art and a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

 

Recent solo exhibitions include Kunstforeningen Gl. Strand in Copenhagen and Alice Folker Gallery in Copenhagen, among others.

 

Gjerdevik has participated in numerous group exhibitions, at venues such as Philipp Haverkampf in Berlin, Kunsthalle E-Werk in Schwerin,  Den Frie Udstillingsbygning in Copenhagen and Collyer Bristow Gallery in London.

 

Gjerdevik was nominated for the prominent Remmen Foundation Art Prize in 2019 and he won the Embassy Art Prize by The Embassy of Denmark in The United Kingdom in 2013. His works are in several prominent private collections as well as the collection of the Municipality of Copenhagen and the City Court in Lyngby.

Gjerdevik lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
