Alice Folker is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2017. The gallery is situated in the centre of Copenhagen on Esplanaden 14 and has a focus on emerging artists. All represented artists are in the collection of museums or public foundations and have made exhibitions at large institutions and museums and public commissions.
Several exhibitions in the gallery and represented artists have been awarded with prizes and below we wish to highlight some:
2019: duo-exhibition 'OFF-Grid' by Frederik Næblerød and Casper Aguila was awarded by the Danish Arts Council for an extraordinary exhibition.
2019: Nat Bloch Gregersen was invited to the JCE biennale (Jeune Creation Européenne) and she was awarded with the Prix Special
2021: solo exhibition 'Stars in the Hair' by Anna Stahn was awarded by the Danish Arts Council for an extraordinary exhibition.
2022: Ragnhild May was invited to the programme The Young Artist Elite, The Danish Arts Council.
2022: Asger Harbou Gjerdevik was commissioned to create 3 large scale paintings for the new Eastern High Court in Copenhagen.
