Opening Emilie Tarp Østensgård

Friday June 9 2017, 17-19 PM there is an opening of a new exhibition by Emilie Tarp Østensgård.

Emilie operates with an open concept of the work in her sculptural based practice. In addition to her sculptures, photography, film, text and drawing are part of her artistic work. Emilie's works have in recent years focused on concepts such as recognition, memory, form, language and meaning making.

In the artworks, raw elements like stone, sand, glass, wind and water meet a sensibility that gives them a poetic and abstract character.

Emilie comes into her work close to the physical parts of the language and the writing through materials such as clay, paper, wood, ink and graphite and pushes to the speed in the reading of our surroundings.
