Mena works both with very thin or opaque paper currently ink on paper.
She works with the idea of the picture, the work as a classical format where she freezes time through composition. The images reflect daily life, people and movement and the way people connect i.e. on the street, meetings of the eyes, split seconds of connections and energy.
Mena graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in February 2017 with akademiebrief from Prof. Rita McBride 2015 and she is Meisterschüler (honored diploma) of Prof. Richard Deacon.
Mena Moskopf has recently had a solo exhibition at Evelyn Drewes Gallery in Hamburg and is currently participating in Kunstmuseum Solingen's 71'th Internationale Bergischer Kunstpreis and has works exhibited at Städitcher Galerie in Lüdenscheid.
