Anna Stahn 

Anna Stahn (b. 1994, Denmark) receives her MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020 with a semester at Parsons Fine Art, The New School in New York.

 

She participated in the group exhibition 'Unfunctionality' at Alice Folker Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark and had an exhibition in an old bathhouse titled ”What The Water Tells in Kofu” in Japan at The Airy Foundation.

 

Stahn has examined sociality through a great interdisciplinary film project 'Hotel Kimono' in close collaboration with performers, artist and musicians from Tokyo in Japan and Copenhagen.

 

Upcoming shows include the exhibition ’Vaser og krukker i dansk samtidskunst’ at Gl. Holtegaard in Holte, Denmark and her MFA Degree Show at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. 

 

Stahn is a writer of artist books in Danish, English and has also collaborated with the Japanese translator Yukako Atsuchi to make a multilingual book project The Daily Miracle /  デイリー ミラクル. Additionally, she is a writer of articles and prose for Danish magazines such as Atlas magazine and Hvedekorn and a co. founder of the publishing house Longetti. Stahn lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
